PLEASE!!! I have been stuck in Spellhold by ignoring Desharik and using the wardstone for 7 days. I have tried all the patches I couls find. Just tried the Baldurdash fix, and it said "could not read file" when I tried to unzip it. Do I have to start over from my last save (Ch.2)? There has to be a Great Wizard out there to help me!

Do a full reinstall of the game - but copy your saves into another folder somewhere else just in case.

The saves are in the folder labeled "saves"

The multiplayer saves are in a folder labeled "mpsaves"

Copy all of those, presuming you have both, somewhere else; then uninstall everything and reinstall everything. This should take care of the problem.
