I realize they cannot, because it's metal and archers cannot wear metal armor, but he IS an elf, so I think he should be able to... so is there a way I can do it? I have shadowkeeper...

Sure, just go into Shadowkeeper, select the body slot, and then put on your elven armor or whatever it is that you want him to wear.

<font color="gold">However, if you put on an illegal item using Shadowkeeper, you can't put it back on if you've taken it off.
No, what you do, is to get Near Infinity. Open BG2 in it, and open the folder 'ITM'. Now, open Shadowkeeper, and find the item you want your Archer to wear. Click it once, click 'Extract Item'. Now you'll see the item-code of the armour. Now, go back to Near Infinity, and locate the item code. Once you've foun dit, click it once, and go to the section 'Edit'. There, you should see perhaps two or three places where it says 'Unusable by'. In one of these, it says Archer. What you do, is to simply deselect the Archer, click 'Update Value', and save the item. And now, tada! Your Archer can wear the item. ;) </font> |
