another question by me today......(sighs and starts feelin kinda stupid)
i havent gone into watchers keep yet and i have heard there is really cool treasures in there.....well i did some quest in chapter 2 and i dont know if im ready yet......i got full plate+1 already for two of my NPC....but most of the weapons i own is +2 and less.....the lvls of my char and the NPC are between 9-11.....am i ready for this or should i comtinue to train and get better weapons? |
You might be able to take the first level. But I would recommend +3 or better weapons - there are several available in chapter 2. In picking them up youll gain a few levels as well, which wont hurt.

Level 1 should be easily doable.
You can also do Level 2 - but it'll probably won't be that easy. I say - what's the rush? Go, gather some XP and loot and complete the whole keep post Underdark. However, if you do the Keep while still in SoA, you'll miss out on all the NPCs Keep-related interactions, so you might want to postpone the Keep until you reach ToB. Why BioWare chose to restrict the interactions to ToB is beyond me... |

ok i will wait i guess......but about the NPC keep related interation thing......i already went there and accepted the Vigil Knights quest but i havent go in to the buildin itself.....so did i miss anything?

ok thx thats all i needed to know for today i think
but i got a really stupid question to ask now......my friend gaved me SoA but it never camed with a manual...i have figured out what most things r all except for THACO....what is THACO and what does it do? |
THACO= to hit armor class zero.... a good explanation would be thus. Say you run across a meanacing kobold with a armor class of 4, while your THACO rating was 7 that would mean that to hit the kobold you must roll a 3 or greater 7-4=3 (THACO-Target AC= minimum value to hit.) So, this pretty much determines your chances to hit a target. This will always hold true except for 1, which always misses, and 20 which always hits. BE aware, that there are many items and skills/proficiencies/situations which modify THACO, so refering to the example above with a +3 THACO sword you would subtract 3 from your THACO giving you a 4 (7-3=4) and against ac of 4 you would always hit except on a 1 (4-4=0)

so thats what THACO does.....i thought it was useless
thx Buster_Wiz |
