Me: Fighter/mage/thief
Jaheira
Minsc
Anomen
Jan
Valgar

Minsc is level 17, and is highest since he's been with the party since beginning, next is Valgar who is 15 or so, Jan, who is 14, both Jaheira and Anomen are low because I didn't have them through most of the game, and I'm lowest on the totem pole because of multi-classed, maybe 12 or so.

Valgar has upgraded spear and armour, Minsc has armor of heart and FoA, Valgar also has celestial fury and bought the Dak'kon off whats-her-name.

I have flame sword, +4, robe of Ve....,

Valgar, Minsc, and Jaheira are running at AC -8, etc., and are still dying.

What we've been doing is turning invisible when he shows up as I try to work out a strategy to kill him before my party members die beyond resurrecting. When I do, Kuroisan runs around saying it isn't a good day (in a female voice?)
and then teleports out of finding again.

I tried to bring up the game but it won't work in this user name, I have other items and money at my disposal, and am in chapter 6.

Where do I buy protection from acid? I have been going through all the vendors, and can't seem to find it.

Also, does anyone know if Kuroisan is respawned anew, we've encountered and saved after meeting him three times. Is he at least running out of stuff? It doesn't look like it to me, as he keeps using the fog stuff without running dry on it.

Another question, and I've noticed this in some of the other encounters because we are high rep, that they are carrying potions of invisibility, so naturally, after I make it through the encounter, that's what I'm picking up. But even hasted, I see the delay in my pc in drinking it and turning invisible, and they pop in and out of visibility very fast.

Am I missing something? Haste is one of the first things I cast upon encounter. But I sure don't pop in and out like they do, and they have to be running the same AI as mine, right? I don't see anything else in their equipment to account for it.

I'll come back with more specifics if you ask, I thought I could load the game in my internet user account, but I'm not authorized. On my own pc!

In this game, I've killed all in the graveyard, up to the point of killing Bodhi since I died many times trying, so I went out to gather more experience points. I'm running out

Personally, I beat him with a 3 man large, lvl +/- 10 party.
Its all about the right tactic. I wasnt able to confront him melee, nobody is I guess. Improved Haste gives something like 8 attacks per round, backed up with stoneskins and PfMW.
Which is why an archer, or long distance-type char. was my salvation.
Just plain, normal arrows and a nice rate of fire finish him off pretty quik.

Just be sure he's chasing one guy, dont make him stop to fight, and pelt him with all other team-members, using ranged weapons.

If you can, dispel his Improved haste and stoneskins.
Lvl 3 -remove magic-
lvl 5 -breach- ( this one probably wotn work, because of his other spell-protections, need to bring those down first )

Thanks, guess I need to find improved haste. Didn't have it yet. I'll try it that way.

First I like to apologise for bringing this bit old topic back up, but I really need help.

The problem is I have no PfMW, Breach or Dispel/Remove magic memorized or in my mage's nor bard's spell book. So he just basicly walks over my party. In about 10 secs my whole party is on it's way to the Abyss. I'm in the Helm's temple (in temple district) and as soon as I walk out Kurosain appears and starts whacking. I don't think you can rest in a church, or can you?

And oh yes, my party:

Fighter, lvl 10
Archer, lvl 9
Priest of Helm, lvl 10
Minstrel (a bard-kit in TDD), lvl 12
Swashbuckler, lvl 12
Wild mage, lvl 11

The party is wholy made by myself. I wanted to try the game this way. It has been very fun so far. Wild mage is also.. um.. jolly. (Especially when you try to cast haste and get fireball from wild surge, in the middle of your party!. :D Or when you cast fireball using Nahal's Reckless Dweomer and get No save vs. spell from wild surge.
