The GLOVES OF HEALING, do they win "the most disapointing prize" award.
at the very least they should do a complete heal once a day. can anybody think of a worse gift? |
You'd THINK that they'd give you something more useful :D
I was disappointed by Helm of Glory myself - it wasn't as effective than the Helm of Balduran I got in Chapter 1, and I had to do more running around to earn that, than to get the Gloves of Healing There must be another downer prize somewhere, but I can't think of it at the moment |

What REALLY sucks about the loves of Healing is their use restrictions--Wizards & Priests can't use them. Can anyone explain to me how a pair of gloves has the same restrictions as a Long Sword?

Just my own theory, but judging from the item's looks, it is not merely a pair of gloves, but a pair of metal gauntlets. You know what they say about spellcasting and finger movements. I will assume that Fighter/Mages have more flexible fingers. ;)

I have to agree with everyone here in saying that those gloves are the worst prize of any quest. I'm sure a first level squire would like them, but my tenth level paladin should have rolled them up and beat sir ryan with them.
kill em all, let the gods sort them out. |
the gloves of healing do truly suck. i mean, 9 points of healing was it? youd think that at least the points of healing would be between 20 and 30, that would make them more useful. the only, at least a little useful thing in the gauntlets would be the ability to cure poison. though with the amount of antidotes, who needs that?!
