I was in the tanners building in the Bridge district when the tanner was not there. I went to the steps to the left of were he is normally standing and ended up in a crypt room. When I opened the crypt, what I beleive was a lich materialized and kicked the crap out of me. When I reloaded my game and went back to the tanner's, I entered the same set of stairs and went up a level instead of down and faced the tanner and his crew. No problem, beat them pretty quickly.

I am now doing the cult of the eyeless quest, after accepting the offer to find the rod in the lowere chambers. I have met up with the former cult members who also want me to help them. They have also told me to stay away from the crypt as it issues pure evil. This appears to be the same place we I got crushed earlier going down the stairs at the tanners.

Is this a bug or was that supposed to happen.

Yeah i'm as well. It might be that the tanner's (SPOILER HERE FOR THOSE NOT DONE THE COMPLETE TANNER QUEST)

They are not the same place, but... they are connected to the same quest. ;)

I remember when this happened to me, when u first enter the houses, both of them are the EXACT same. but in the basement of one was that lich thing. i have question though, what happens when u beat the elemental lich? what do you get?

Go to the building left of the thieves hideout (No longer recall the specific place name..Maever??) near to the bottom right of the docks. In there you will pick up the quest and all will become clear.

You have to be pretty good too to complete that quest [img]smile.gif[/img]
