Normally I'd spare the Forum and use the Search for these trifling questions, but since it's down at the moment...

1 - does Death Ward protect against Imprisonment, since the game considers the PC "dead" when you're hit with that spell?

2 - I'd like to try using some spells that I've ignored in the past; can Call Lightning be at all useful? If it takes one TURN to cast it, how would one implement that in combat with any effectiveness?

3 - ShadowKeeper sez that the Winter Wolf Pelt is a "container" - is there any type of object that can be placed in the Wolf Pelt? I tried a few but nothing seems to go inside it...

1- No. An imprisoned character is still alive, just can`t do too much.
2- It can be affective against multiple enemies, especially weaker ones.
3- *ONE* version of the Pelt is a container. This version can`t be legitemately brought into the game.

1) No. Imprisonment is not a Death-based spell. It does not even kill the character. It "merely" keeps you in stasis... forever.

2) Call Lightning is cast immediately, then a fresh new bolt is fired every turn. It is extremely useful in outdoors battles when you cast it multiple times.

3) There are different types of Winter Wolf Pelts. Not all are containers.

Thanks Lennon & Dundee - much appreciated :D
(very well... "Oi! Viconia! Yeah, look, scratch Death Ward when we talk to Kangaxx, OK?... I dunno, just memorize another Cure Serious or something...")

Ah ha! - so if Jaheira casts it in three successive rounds, then every turn will see a "salvo" of three bolts, spaced one round apart, yes? And the spell's range seems to cover a lot of area,...hmm, that does sound cool (heh)... Thanks, I'll give it a whirl

If you do not have any mage, sorceror or bard in your group is there anyway to free imprisoned characters then?
