There is a thread like this in the Bg forum and i thought it'd be a good idea to take it to a more heavily trafficed forum. You can all thank D*ranged for the idea.(which i thought was a good one because it shifts the usual what's your favorite class debate alittle)

in my opion the most underated

Just curious as to why you think so. See I've never used a gnome or a ranger/cleric. If I'm going to be a ranger I picture myself using a bow and arrow and sword, period. And as for gnomes well, uh they're just plain ugly. And if I may add to your thread can we include underrated NPC's too. I was constantly badmouthing Jaheira until I finally used her with TOB installed and at level 15(I think) she acquired 5 new level 7 spells and 3 or 4 level 6. Now she is really tough.

sure go ahead(i'd have to think about my vote for most underrated npc)
a ranger wielding the foa or cf can be very nasty, especially when you add in clerical buff spells
as for gnomes, they kinda seem forgotten they can be very effective thieves and fighters(they have better saving throws) the being held to illsionist is a big drawback though

You may be wondering why edwin is there. He gets a extra 2 spells for each level. Good,eh!

I don't think that Ranger/Clerics are under-rated. They are basically fighting druids. They're my favourite multi-class combo, in any event.

i dun like gnomes unless they are mages!!!
