I only want to cheat to get the golden pants from BG 1. When I started to play BG 2 i wanted a barbarian and not the straight fighter I had in BG. But anyway i put the debug code in the .ini file and i get the console up. when i type in the cheat i get a file not found error.

Hmmm........I had that happen a couple times, but only because I threw in capitals in wrong places, or forgot quotes. So remember C++ is case sensitive and it should look something like this.

CreateItem("superpants02") or whatever the item name is.

Make sure your 0's are not O's too.

dont heat (except on romances if u want) ruins the fun of the game, b to easy to complete :D

DON'T cheat:
- Things you don't deserve. ("I want 500 hitpoints!")
- To make fights easier. ("Feel the wrath of my Vorpal Bow with no Save!")

DO cheat:
- Bugs in the game. ("The game forgot all of my Thieving skills!")
- To get around rules that shouldn't exist. ("Why won't the game let me Dual my Stalker to a Cleric?")
- Just for fun. ("Hey, Ctrl-6 and Ctrl-7 change your avatar! Cool!")
