In the dungeon under the asylum, there is a room with a chest that holds a few items (boots, an hourglass, a star medallion, a sun medallion, a broadsword necklace, water, a sundial, a skull, a statuette of a gagged man, a grinning skull, a mirror, and a golden circlet), and there are statues in the room with hints that I can put the items into. What do I put where, and what will happen (I've placed the items, but nothing seems to happen)?

Obviously, you need to put them into the right ones.
