Okay i think i;m kinda screwed. Anyway itz about Edwin for starters. i got him the Nether scroll, but nothing happened and nothing has happened for a long time now (Does it only work in Athkatla perhaps?) well anyway Edwin now keeps saying "i'm glad to be rid of you idoits at last" or something and leave, and my reputation is only 14 (I lowered it on his behalf). SO whats happening with Edwin>i wanna keep him he has heaps of spells.

When you obtained the scrolls, did you say it was party treasure or did you say it belonged to Edwin???

you need a lot of time before he can read the scroll and cast it. you need to rest as well so that he can memorize it. i slept for like 5 to 8 times before he turned himself into a "comedy queen". be patient.

Anyway: first time I did the nether scroll it worked in Trademeet, so I don't think it's Athkatla only...

Yup, that's most likely what happened... Obtaining the Nether Scrolls is in fact his side-quest, and if you (in other words) refuse to give it to him alone, you're missing out on a lot of fun later on in the game. ;)

Whats the prupose of the nether-scroll anyway? I never had Edwin long enough with me to really find out.

Well, it doesn't really have any purpose... Edwin thinks it's extremely valuable and is studying it. But when he finally casts it, well...

I heard somewere when he reads the scroll he gets a bonus to his lore as well. I'm not sure if this is true but it might be because in my evil game he could identify alot of items.
