I have got the human skin and when I went to umar hills I tried to find that guy with the book I couldnt find him. I have the walkthrough and he is not there outside the inn with the other three merchants where he is suppose to be?

Is there some thing I need to do before he is 'triggered' in the area or is that a bug I have?

To find out which one, talk to everybody, until the option to buy the History of the Zhentarim shows. Choose this one, tell him his name is Darcin Cole, and you're good to go. ;) </font>

err.. no he is not there.. :( could I have killed him unpurposely? *sigh* no evil armour for me thief then.

Asking the obvious here, but you do have finished that part of the quest? You have been downstairs, seeing the Tanner escaping, and fighting some Rune Assassins? You also have read the letter that can be found in the closet right next to the bed, which tells you about Darcin Cole in the first place?</font>

ooops that might be it. Yes I killed everyone and got the letter but I probably didnt read it as I have read it before in my previous game and probably threw it away... *sigH* ... I hope I can find it ....

Actually, he does have a name: Fael. Exxon, could you please edit your post so the answer to the Tanner's Riddle at least has a spoiler tag? You answered a question that Tranquillity did not ask. Thanks.

The guy who your meant to find is Fael, hes on the left side of Umar Inn. If you cant find the Letter use the CLUA command to summon it in (MISC6A).

the day you arive at the umar hills is the only one there if you say you dont wanna buy anyhting he leaves u could have done that but the first time you vist the left of the inn he is the only one there.

supposed you attacked the people there, Kael wont attack you so theres no point to kill him. maybe you turn berserk (bloodlust) and wiped then out. better luck next time.
