Sythe 11-12-2002 07:12 PM

Oh nothing really just a minor thing just that everytime I click it and it loads up it pops up a screen called This has commited a illegal operation. Had this problem before but heh I can solve it.

Fix it, there the best in the game and i think there the easyist to solo but most people think it is the sorc. any way, a cav equiped with the carsyomer and firkraggs scale armor is unstopable!!

And just how do you plan on getting carsomyr and red dragon scales off of Firkraag when solo-ing?

Get a high enough Thac0 (high levels), then use the potion-scrolls swap trick for your mage spells, and then pray Firkraag doesn't land enough critical hits on you.

I consider that as cheating and that would leave no importance in solo-ing.
Why not try to tackle him head on and fight like a man...??? Ohh yeah, it might take you a long time to defeat him but it is still more manlier (is that a word?) !!!

Angelousss 11-13-2002 02:35 AM

yes manlier is a word, you don't put more in front of it though. that's proably why it sounded funny

the point of soloing is to build up one charater instead of six, therefore as a cav you should be able to beat a dragon based soley on your toughness(good way is to get the celestial fury stun is not to underestimated)

Can a cavalier with Celestial Fury really stun a dragon? [Paladins only get 2-star proficiency, correct?] How about Flail of Ages' Slow effect, then? On dragons, I mean. Fighter type killing a dragon alone seems pretty scary...

Angelousss 11-13-2002 02:50 AM

it's important to remeber your getting 6x the xp. I'm sure it's not easy but it is possible. yes paladins only get 2 star profiency but that early in the game how many slots will you have anyway. i might put one in katana just because the fury is so nasty. also rember you don't have to fight him right away. you can level up and come back
