ok, I used the flirt patch and it was working awesome(ly?) until me and my buddy decided to mess with aerie...she said never touch me ever again and i think it cancelled the romance stuff...is there any way i can get it back?

I know there is a spot where i can put the number 1,2, or 3 into the configuration ro somesuch that sets the romance at that level, but i can;t find it....can anyone PLEASE tell me how to set a romance level?

Easiest way would be to use ShadowKeeper (A recent version) to alter the relevant gloabal variable (Its called AERIEROMANCE or something along those lines).

It is also possible to do it through the CLUAConsole, but for that you need instructions (The ironworks cheat page) and the precise name of the variable.

what number puts the romance at about the 1/2 way point?

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("AERIEROMANCEACTIVE","GLOBAL ",1)
That will set her romance to active. Set it to 2 if you want to have slept with her already. You will also need to modify the local variable to whatever LT you want.
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS",x)

Edit: Haha, I just got the joke. Also, make sure that you have the mouse over Aerie/Aerie Selected when setting the local. wtf did you manage to do that made her hate you? Even when I did "inappropriate things" she just said that we shouldn't do that =/

Edit again: Actually, Aerie reaches RomanceActive 2 before she sleeps with you. Oops.

i set it to one and that didn't work, so i started from an earlier save and it was working fine until she started talking about how she hates being without wings...i promised to get them back for her and she flipped out and now i can't flirt with her anymore:-\ how do i fix that?

I'm not sure if it affects it, but make sure that you have the Lovetalk variable in the right romanceactive (i.e. 35+ in romanceactive2). Try typing in CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("AERIEROMANCE","GLOBAL",1)
If indeed the romance is not broken, then it should allow the next LT to come up. There are certain spots where flirting is disabled, such as

I've not yet done the Aerie romance w/ the flirt pack, so I'm not sure about that.
Edit: AHAHA IW is back! Couldn't access it all evening (Since like right after this post) Anyway, you seem to be contradicting yourself here. You first say that you were flirting with her and made her say never touch her again? Then you say that you said something incorrectly in the wing dialogue. The wing dialog is NOT related to the flirt pack. However, I believe it might freeze the flirting until the next LT. What you said, that you will get her wings back, is just fine. She will apologize for it in the next little "chat" you two have.

Um...actually, that's part of the romance. ;) It resolves itself in the next talk between the two of you.

the contradiction came from me starting from an earlier save point.....even after starting over she would stop talking to me about 10 minutes into the game (for a different reason) but it did get straightend out. apparently you can;'t flirt when shes mad...go figure

Yes, as mentioned in the FAQ, she won't flirt when she's upset.
