The paladin could cooperate with the vampires just to get inside the nest and investigate/destroy them. I like siding with Bhodi because I get to kill her *and* the Shadow Thieves. I wasn't too fond of the Thieves having so much power over me, and I doubt a paladin would settle for the lesser of two evils. He would destroy the both of them.

How can you kill all the vampires and still progress, though?
I frankly thought the shadow thieves were almost impossibly nice in BGII. They NEVER screw you up, they just withhold a little information until later. |

Maybe a psychotic paladin would 'destroy' them but surely any paragon of peace would just show them the error of their ways and send them for some counselling?

Change the thread title to "Rationalization for a paladin to side with Bodhi..." and you'll have it. ;)

Well a true AD&D Paladin would side with neither of them since both are evil. He'll find his own way in gettig to Spellhold or acquire means of transportation from someone that is at least Neutral or Good. Since the game FORCES you to side with one or the other, you can come up with a whole bunch of excuses why a Paladin would do such and such.

Vampires have feelings to you know. Mostly lust and hate but still a little therapy could go a long way.
