I just started a new solo Cavalier. He's level 9 and just did the quests in Waukeen's Prom. and the Slums. I stopped by the City Gates to get the Daystar on my way to Nalia's Castle. The problem is that I can't force open the door. I used Draw on Holy Might but it had no effect. What can I do beside get a thief in my party to open the door?

Then don't get it =)
Either that, or a) wait till you get the Crom Faeyr and try then or
b) pick up Yoshimo/Jan to open that door and then send them on their way.

Edit: I just brute forced it with Ranger/Cleric 24 Strength.

Or mr.Lothar get a wizard multi class dual whatever if he or she doesn't know the spell knock make em learn it and use the coo magic on the door.

I wanted to open the door without getting someone else to open it for me. Guess I'll have to hire someone to do it though.

24 Strength will open the door but not the lock on the chest inside. D'oh!

Drink a Potion of Fire/Cloud/Storm Giant Strength, then cast Draw Upon Holy Might for a grand total of 25 STR. Have fun bashing open locks! ;)

you can brute force locks? I didn't know that. how?

Click on your attack button and then click on the door, chest etc.
