1) I'm looking for a good downloadable walkthrough; any suggestions/recommendations would be vastly appreciated.
2)What's with the ruby/sapphire/opal stones you find during the game?

Ironworks has a good walkthrough. And as far as I know, any gems are just for selling.

2.Sell them, they dont have any use but to get you money so you can buy good items. But keep one Rogue Stone, Diamond and Beljuril Gem....

I don't mean the gems, I mean the *stones*. Don't exactly remember where I found them, but they're definitely not regular gems, as I can't store them in a gem bag and I can't sell them....

What are the names of the stones? Maybe bullets?

You use those stones in Bodhi's Gauntlet under Spellhold. There is a room where there is a portal gate. Click on it with the stones in your inventory to summon up creatures and defeat them.

Once all of them have been defeated, you will get the best Plate Armour in the game.
