Does this look familiar to anyone? I had this since the beginning of SoA, but never gave it any thought since I never played a sorc. I have *NO* idea what it is supposed to mean. I run all the latest patches and such.

I think you have ToB installed. While advancing lvl your characters can gain lvl 10 (mages) or Quest (priest) spells registered to lvl 9 (or 7 for priests) or even special abilities (warcry etc)

Your Dialog.tlk is messed up. Some mod filled it with text lines, and some other mod (it is neither Sola nor Valen) overwrote it. Now first mod (mod which added or altered that 9th level spell) needs spell description stored somewhere in dialog.tlk, but there is now no that particular description anymore. There is that text for some dialog.
What spell is there anyway, in unmodded game?
What mods do you have?

I do not think he has ToB installed. There is no sign of Bigby's Crushing Hand or Wish. I also note that there is a Call Lightning button. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Thus, he has a Xp cap remover.

Perhaps The Darkest Day or Shadows over Soubar or Epic Endeavours or Tortured Souls (big mods).

Or teh Kelsey mod?

Nah, Kelsey is a WeiDU mod, which means he does not mess up with the DIALOG.TLK file.

I dont have ToB installed, but I have SoA installed for 3 years now and did install several mods, among TDD which I then removed. I *do* have an exp cap remover, kelsey mod, valen mod, all weidu's and such.

But if it is supposed to mean that there should be a lvl 9 spell that is not part of the original spell book for SoA, then its ok. I just thought I missed a lvl 9 spell.

I did not comment on it just now, but I think I will point it out now. Have you already selected Time Stop and Chain Contingency?, because they are missing from the spell list. :eek:

Well, I have a Grease Pig picture on my Lvl 5 spell screen and it is a "Symbol, Stun" spell.

However, I have never used it.......

So no big problem there.........
