I added him to my party and went to the crossroads map. As I enter he says that we'll never find the caravan and not too bother. Is this just a hint to tell me that that Im on the right map or I really cant get any credit for finding the caravan and which caravan is it. I found 2 toppled over, one near the south and a another a little more north east.

Everything you have to do with Kagain is go to that area, he´ll say that and then the "quest" is over.

Nice guy. I got him once but dropped him out because my whole group was good, he was the only evil guy.

That is exactly why he gives up the search. Because he's evil, and he really doesn't care if you find the caravan or not.

Oh he cares, it's his money on the line. Kagain will even attack you if you don't take him to the crossroads after 10 days. But once he realizes the search for the missing caravan won't be so easy, he no longer sees it as worth his time to pursue the matter. Quite the opportunist!

Which is true with all evil-aligned characters. Why make the effort?

heh, I thought for I must have missed something. My whole party is evil so I think Ill keep him for now though, thanks folks.

I've never played with Kagain. He supposedly has at least one very, very funny line that he directs at Khalid when Khalid eventually gets on Kagain's last nerve.

Well, I've never heard him say anything, but the only words that he has ever directed to another party member was to Edwin, "Whaddya do that for, ya dolt!" I think it was something like that.
