What do you think....
I was thinking, being a fan of different television shows - it has always caused me grievance when networks decide to shut down shows - but I understand why they do it ( bad ratings etc ). The thing I really don't like is when they just shut down a show - they don't end it properly - I've always kind of hoped for some kind of ruleset that would bind the networks to at least wrap up shows decently.
One of the last big examples of this was the show No Ordinary Family that just ended with a "To be continued" but in fact it was discontinued. |

Yeah, I know.. they killed Stargate Universe too.. sucks.. and they go and make Sharknado? woooowwwww... :(
I am currently enjoying Continuum.. I just worry it'll be cancelled.. seems all the intellectual shows get the axe. grrr... |
Re: What do you think....
Aye...at least my current favourite show is from England so it shouldn't be an issue ( Sherlock ).
I think that instituting rules for the networks in order to safeguard the fans would be a good idea - not something insane but just a rule that they have to set aside the money equal to two episodes of the show in order to wrap it properly. I am still moaning about Las Vegas that ended in a violent shooting at a wedding...and nothing more - I felt that NBC fucked the fans over on that one! |
