hi every1, i'm new (not to BG2 tho) and need help.
i got the daystar sword (i h8 lichs) and want the helm of glory. where is it? (exact location please)
I am currently in Underdark. Is there anything I should know before proceeding?

o yeah, one more question. is this a good party:
Main Char (fighter level 12 ac -5 [fortress shield])

Jahiera
Aerie
Anomen
Imoen

i know they probably arn't the best but Jahiera has a habit of murdering things before anyone else can, Imoen is a class thoef and archer, Aerie just summons animals spiders and Dijinns to her aid. Minsc, Anomen and my Main Char are always at the front of attacks (except when Minsc uses his bow). I am looking forward to kickin Irenicus and Bodhi in. They keep runnin from me as soon as they r near death, how annoying!!!

Ok

1) The helm of glory is obtained by doing the Sir Sarles quest, after the Cult of the Unseeing Eye quest. Once you've done that quest, talk to the priest that asks to speak to you to get the quest. Since you're in the Underdark, that'll be in Chap 6.

2) Nope, except for probably that drow weapons disintegrate upon contact with sunlight.

3) A pretty good party, though maybe low on magic. Other than that, a well balanced group.

When you've done the game a few times you can make any group except thpose with personality problems work but until then, yeah, a good group. my starter was
Me (fighter specialising in 2-handed swords, by end SoA she had an AC of -7

No offnese but if ur not new to the game and have betean it before, try a 3-4 person prty and play multiplayer and create your own characters. Its much funner that way and i hate playing with the games npc's and playing with 6 charcters. If it is ur first time dont worry keep it like that.

If u are scpetacle about killing adalon because u are afriad u wont find the scret exsit wait untill shes in human form and leading u to her exits. kill her as a human tell me what happens i never tryed it before so dont do it if u really want the human fles armor even though i dont think any of ur chracters can wear it with out tob's abilities installed.

Hmm, I've solod with most characters except clerics, beast master, stalker, avenger and skald.

how do u play multiplayer offline? it sounds cool.

Start a TCP/IP multiplayer game, and then save and copy your save game from the multiplayer save folder to the single player save folder. ;)

No, it isn't: He's got a full Mage, a backup Mage, a full Cleric, a backup Cleric, and half a Druid. Plus 4 good Fighters and an almost-Thief.
