Once a quitter, always a quitter

Re: Once a quitter, always a quitter
I concur. She should never have quit her job as governor because she handed any future political opponent the best weapon against her: "don't vote for my opponent because she is a quitter".
I don't think about her one way or another. To me, she is a political celebrity which means she does what every other celebrity does--self-promotion. *shrug* |
Re: Once a quitter, always a quitter
Flex the problem with the article starting off with the very first line, "The former Half term Gov." Well the writer by this statement is unable to count or do simple math. Sarah Palin was sworn in on Dec 4, 2006 and resigned July 3, 2009 for a total of 32 months of service. 32 months out of 48 months, (for those who are getting their knickers in a bunch right now 48 months equal 4 years which is how long the term of Alaska governor lasts) That 's 2/3 of her term not Half of her term. So from the very begining we have a falsehood, a LIE. Everything is started off from the point of a lie. Then did anyone notice the use of the words tentative, and preliminary in the discription of the schedule remaing that the lieing writer trying to propose as being quit on? Anyone care to look up in the dictionary what those words mean? Or would you rather believe the lie base everything on a lie, proceede from the starting position of a lie, ignor the meaning or words? I'm not saying you have to like Sarah Palin just be truthful and accurate have the guts to admit you don't like her based on an emotional reason and not a intellectual one.
Is Sarah Palin going to run for President of the USA? NO way she is having to much fun exploding the liberal hatemongers heads... She goes on a bus tour, the press chase after her like she was in heat, act like "papa-rot-ceee" then complain when she doesn't tell them where she is going, She doesn't have to tell them anything. But they in their arrogance and selfgratifing masibitory circle of intellectual dishonesty whine like 2 year olds... Sarah is playing them for the fools they are, and anyone believing their foolishness is well to Platantily and unashamidly bastardize and old saying "You are what you believe." |

Yeah, she left politics and went into entertainment, simple as that.

Re: Once a quitter, always a quitter
Yeah went to go peddle a book and make reality shows. Would love if she ran, but I doubt it. There's far more money to be had by doing what she is doing right now.

*Yawn* Who would want her to become anything but a celeb anyway - the lady is so shit-dumb that it would make the rest of the world piss our pants laughing if the US was actually stupid enough to elect her ( That being said...you DID vote Bush a second term so unfortunately intelligence is not something I would rate high in the US ).

W's opponent is equivalent to what the repubs are attempting to put forward now. Politicians who are mere jokes in their profession, and entered in an attempt to win the miracle challenge. I'm hoping by 16 the tea party will have downsized and real conservative politicians will step up to the plate. Another grandpap as candidate is not welcome! |
Re: Once a quitter, always a quitter
Why does a United States political celebrity make you so upset?
Let us presume, simply for the sake of discussion, that Ms. Palin were elected to the office of President of the United States. I am curious--how would that directly have an effect on you, someone who is not a citizen of the United States? I would have a greater reason to worry than you would...but then again I don't think about her enough to get upset. |
