Shogun 2: Total War
 

Hey all, been a long time since I last visited, hope there's still some familiar faces around :)

I just bought Shogun 2 through Steam, only had time to go through the tutorials so far..Has anyone here played it so far? I'm something of a casual Total War series fan(meaning played all of them, but have always been rubbish at the actual battles), and after a disappointing attempt of enjoying Empires, I'm giving Shogun a try. Always been very interested in Japanese culture, and I think this has the potential to be an interesting game.

My one problem with it is the lack of diversity in units..Medieval 2 was the first one I played, so I got used to the nation-specific units, making each game somewhat unique. I fear Shogun will suffer from a lack of replayability due to having only few different units, which are available to all clans.

One thing that interests me however is the new improved multi-player. Thus to my point, is anyone here playing Shogun? Would love to brush up on my battle tactics in MP! :)
