An currently in a romance with Ja. The past three or so romance dialogues have been the repeating - 'Ah, the dawning of our day, though it is very rarely that we match our sleep to the cycle of day or night.'

Looks like the romance sub-plot is stuck in a loop. How do I get rid of it?

Do you have the game fully patched (official and Baldurdash)? The unpatched Jaheira romance is known to be quite buggy. I believe there is a way to skip to the next romance convo using CLUAConsole but I don't remember it right now. SOmeone else will come along with the info.

Yes, it is patched with both the official patch as well as the Baldurdash ToB fixes.

Using SK, either move the romance tag forward or backward. If you read the Jaheira section of the romance FAQ at the link below, there are three "snag" points, and how to correct them. ;)

Jaheiras buggy as hell here - patched and everything I had quite a few dialogue repetition loops with her (one she said every 5 seconds!) until I just had to drop her from my party. Talk about annoying.

Mine isn't repeating, in the sense that the dialogue comes up every 5 mins. It's spaced out every few game days, but it's the same one everytime.

Just wanted to say that the problem seems to have solved itself. The next time I rested in an outdoor area, Dermin spawned.
Maybe that was the cause - I was in the City & in dungeon areas & Dermin couldn't appear. What puzzles me though is why the same dialogue wiuld reoccur every few (game) days. :confused:
