The Future of Humans...This was fun to read

So I followed a link on MSN about a tooth that was found in an Israeli cave which makes some scientists think that they have found proof that modern man is older than the Ethiopian claim. But that's not even the most fun part. Below the page was a history and "future" of mankind interactive chart. I have linked you to it here:

In the section "after Humans", I found this fun to read...from the perspective of somebody who found reading D&D Monster Manuals fun to read. Check it out. There are five post-human models. In summary:

Unihuman is what will happen when diversity is lost as people from different nations come together and genes get blended so much that that there's nothing left to diversify.
Survivalistian is what we'll become after a global catastrophe and we develop anti-radiation skin and night vision.
Numan is a race that comes from medical-genetic modification. But...will the Naturals befriend or mistrust this race? If X-men and Heroes has taught us anything...we already know the answer to that!
Cyborg...yes...it make the list...Need I say more?
Astran are what we'll become in 4 million years when we are able to re-engineer our bodies both genetically and robotically to survive light years of travel by space ship being driven by robots to distant galaxies so as to inhabit them.

See...I told you that would be fun.

What about the MM entry for the ground-hugging humans that will have to develop once the moon finally leaves earth orbit (it's moving 2 inches away a year) and we are left with a planet that has no axis and out of control winds?

Great point. I guess they forgot that one. Away? I thought it was falling nearer...

Nearer/farther, who cares? The end is coming, regardless.
