Some DC Questions
 

I am getting excited about the release of DC 1.0 and I am reviving some work-in-progress projects. Unfortunately the vast art archives I had built for these projects are gone.

I have access to the art on line but some of it has to be changed over to FRUA from DC. I seem to remember there some sites that has the art changed already. Could someone make iID these sites?

Also if I have an old FRUA peice of art, say a .lbm file what are the steps to change it over to DC? I have a program (XnView) in which I can resize and convert .pcx and .lbm files to .jpg or .png.

Unfortunately I have no art skills (probably because Uatu is hogging them all, LOL).

I normally used CHAIN events to control stages of the adventure. These chains could get very long and they were very complicated to keep track of. Is there a better alternative in DC?

I found the FRUA art converted to DC.

I need to convert some .lbm pic files to DC. Is there a dimension difference? Do I need to resize the picture. I know I need to change the file format (I would use either .jpg or .png for DC).

I imagine there is a profound dimension difference. Also DC will use normal picture formats, png and bmp.

I registered to join the FRUA forum several days ago. I got a reply today asking for my BIO and to explain my interest in FRUA. Seems that they have had some spammers. I wrote about my early college days of playing D&D, all my gold box games, etc. etc. etc to prove my worthiness to join the forum. Have not heard back yet. They seem very strict.

A few months ago, there was an outpouring of spam. The questions are meant to stop spammers and spam bots especially. FRUA is no more strict than any other forum.

Just kidding about the strictness thing. Apparently you could not see my tongue in cheek, LOL.:kidding: I am looking forward to joining the Forum.

I remember that Manikus addressed the conversion thing some time ago, I just need to locate the post. As I remember pics are pretty easy, but Icons are trickier.
