Oblivion Observation
While fighting a Dremoa Markynaz (one of the wizard ones), I noticed that it had no hands. It was casting spells and doing hand to hand fighting perfectly happily with no hands.
I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this, or if it was just a bug. -DS |
Re: Oblivion Observation
I can't say I've noticed anything like that. But it's been over a year since my computer was even able to run the game. Still need a new vid card, and before that a job.

Re: Oblivion Observation
Aah, the great land of the Unemployed has hit you too?

Re: Oblivion Observation
I've been here for 2 years roughly. Problem being that my first 2 jobs were pretty much handed to me, so I don't really have experience "getting" a job. Makes things more difficult when the job market is bust. This is where patient parents are a wonderful thing. That and I try to not be a complete layabout, so I'm at least useful to them.
More on topic what of these handless mage type Dremora? Do they cast summon gloves/gauntlets type magic and have some kind of graphical glitch when it wears off? |

Re: Oblivion Observation
I've just found another one (looking at it right now) and before it cast any spells, it had no hands. And then drew a claymore and used it. With no hands. So I suppose its a bug. (Because I doubt anyone would do that intentionally and leave it able to use weapons)

Re: Oblivion Observation
maybe a missing/corrupt texture file for the dremora hands? Though I'd expect an error message if that were the case.

Re: Oblivion Observation
If it were that, I would have thought that more of them would be missing hands.. But most dremora have them. Just not every robed Markynaz in my game.
Most odd. |
