i think i told xzar to go bugger off about finding monty (his attitude got to me)...is there any way i can find him and reinitialize the quest? i try to talk to the guy outside of the harper building but he wants nothing to do with me.
also, am i the only one who gets stuck with duplicate quests in his journal? i still have an unfinished quest thing for the unfinished golem in the planar sphere...but jeeves (the guardian golem) is already assembled and patrolling. same thing with that kid from umar. he bugs me, i go to umar and talk to everyone, but no one has anything to say about another quest (took care of the shade lord) and to top it all off i cannot find the bloody key to mazzy's cell. i've looked everywhere. i must've killed the jailor, but i can't find the key!

Can't help you wiht xzar but I have a thought on Mazzy (below). As far as duplicate quests go I also have a couple hanging around in my journal that have already been completed. I think that if you talk to some of the characters that originally initiate the quests that your journal gets updated again (I have duplicates of the Ulmar hills quest and one of the Asylum quests). Probably just a minor bug.

As far as Mazzy is concerned you get the key from the body of the jailor so it should still be there - unless killing the Shade Lord and ending the quest changes that.

the quest for xsar comes first before the callng of the harpers, so it means that it wont be accessed anymore when you are doing the calling of the harpers quest

Try CTRL-Jing into Mazzy's cell.
