I have BG1 and want to buy TotSC, but I have BG in German. Do I have to buy TotSC in German or does it work in English too?

I had BG in spanish and TotSC in english, it worked fine though the dialogs appear in a random language http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif. If you understand both ok, then it doesnt matter, though id recommend getting both in the same language.
