Ore miners help
 

G'day

I have my keep up and running, with weapon and armor makers ready to start work, but they need ore.

I have talked to the guy at old owl well and he said he will join me and the lady in Port Llast who also said she will help, but so far no ore has been forthcoming.

I have found several ore deposits on my travels but never talked to anyone about them.

Howdy Wellard,

during your travels, clicking on the various ore deposits brings up a message confirming that you've found them.

If you get corrupted messages then AFAIK you don't get credited with the discoveries.

In the lead up to getting the keep you can find 8 ore veins :

Act I
- iron x 2
- cold iron x 3
Act II
- Alchemical silver x 2
- mithril x 1

There are another 8 veins to find (1 x mithril, 2 x dark steel, 5 x adamantine) later in the game.

I have found and clicked on a few ore deposits getting 50 xp for each but no one wants to know about them. Both sets of minors have agreed to work for me but no ore is getting to the smiths!

Howdy Wellard,

have you talked to Pentin and Calindra outside the keep ? They should tell you they've reached an agreement.

Never seen them, mind you i always get wolfs minion to take me to the courtyard

Ok I checked it out and that was the help I needed - I always looked for them in the courtyard but never thought of looking outside.

Might be worth making some extra saves in the keep in case you want to go back and try different choices.
