Im in the dungeon of firkraag and I encountered 3 clay golems and 1 iron golem.

Now how do I kill the clay golems? Do they take damge from blunt weapons only? If so Im in trouble cuz all I got is slashing, crushing, missile and piercing...
Could anyone name some blunt weapons?

Oh and the Iron golem can only be damaged by piecing attacks right?

Iron needs +3 or better. Clay needs blunt/crushing no piercing/slashing.

Alternatively, if you have a wizard or cleric, use respectively lower resistance or magic resistance and then fire a barriage of magic missiles at the clays.

Ahhh. Great...Ill have to hit them with Aerie and Jaheira then cuz staffs are crushing...
This will be a tough fight indeed...

I only got 1 lower resistance but I'll bombard one of them dam golems to oblivion indeed.

if youre having problems with the really big one in the room where they are guarding the weapons, give your best tank all ur best AC lowering equipment. Helm of Balduran, Fortrees shield, ring of eart control, and cast defensive harmony. Then have that tank take him on 1on 1 you should be able to take him out. Due it at the entrace to the room and have a healer standing to the right of your fighter. Just run when he spouts off his gas.

THanks for the tips. Btw Polar bears(Monster SUmmoning 3) Can kill one and a half CLay golem. There were three of them, so I summoned more tanks while Minsk slashed away with the flail of ages, and thats the end of that story. As for the Iron golem, I just cast Lower resistance on him and then I used two melfs minute meteors on him and he fell aswell... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Now Theres more golems in this dungeon + a nasty dragon, I installed the baldurash fixpack so cloudkilling him wont work...thats gonna be real tough with a low lvl party but fun and maybe rewarding [img]smile.gif[/img]

it will be amazingly rewarding ;)
