Isn't it kind of embarrassing to congratulate yourself??

Nah, I'm pretty sure he's used to it by now. It happens a lot...

He didn't even play for 3 days last month and still kicked our a$$es.

Congrats again B!

As this is the topic closest to the trivia contest I could find...

I got a question today...just had to lose two seconds and select and copy it...

Quote:

Last of all, the granddaddy of all bizarre products! Which avian ornament is required for the bizarre lawn?

A nodding woodpecker
A rubber duck
A pink flamingo
A plastic robin
So erm...yeah. What do you consider the right answer for a question like that?

Q: How do you tell a house full of pink flamingos?
A: The yard's full of little plastic Mexicans.

That's what I chose and it was the correct answer...but the question is entirely subjective...what if I considered a plastic robin as the accessory for the bizarre lawn?

I'm reminded of the disclaimers at the start of the NPR radio show "Whaddayaknow?". Among them....

"The answers are well-thought-out, insightful, and intelligent.

The questions? Meh."

I'm paraphrasing... but yeah.

But the granddaddy of bizarre products? Ye olde flamingo's outsold the others combined by 100:1 I'd bet...
