Before I start NWN2

G'day

Just got NWN2 (no expansions) - yeah I know but my old computer was not the best :P

Anyhow before I start is there any must do mods or such before I start my first game? I have patched to version 1.21.1549

I'd play it the way it is, unless you want to play an Arcane Trickster. In that case you might want to invest in some mods which allow sneak attacks with touch spells.

Thanks ... I was thinking of starting a simple fighter or cleric for my first run through. Keep it simple stupid is always a good policy :D

and follow the links to the version that suits your installation.

It significantly improves the AI for both monsters and characters, and can be customized extensively.

A version of this mod is actually part of the AI upgrade that is done with the Storm of Zehir expansion.

Beyond that, I wouldn't recommend any specific mods although there are some community fixes available for SoZ that are useful if you have that installed.
