Serious Problem With My XBox Live For 360
So, despite the fact that im a very busy person, i very much enjoy playing Halo 3 in my free time. I currently have a month left before my membership expires.
My 360 (Elite) has been at a friends house for a while, and Matchmaking (Halo 3) works just fine there, in fact we have Halo parties all the time. My "Box" is now at my house and i have downloaded a few game demos and whatnot from the Marketplace. When i go to matchmaking,in Halo3, i can get to where it is "supposed" to find players. Last night, i sat around waiting for it to find enough players for team slayer. It found 243 games, but no games i could play, or people to play with me, or whatever. This has been happening ever since i brought it home and im getting a little upset. I really enjoy playing, but i think there is something wrong. I spoke to a friend and he says he has the same problem, so can it be my service provider? I currently have HughesNet. Can anyone shed light on what the hell is going on? |

While I can't help you with your problem, I can say that my friend has recently encountered the dreaded Red Ring of Death.

ah yes, the ring of death....that sucks.
So i think i may have found the problem, i think it has something to do with a setting on my internet. I dont think its allowing something or another, i have to check yet tonight, but hopefully i can get the problem solved. |

Yes, you have to set the port forwarding right or otherwise your xbox won't be able to receive most incoming packets.
