Not that I don't enjoy watching the telly any more, I just don't do it anywhere near as often as I used to. Still like to read, sleep, be with friends, and shop! I still love long phonecalls but again don't make them as often because the internet is cheaper. There's only a few friends with whom I still have late night long winded chats on the phone. What five activities (from the above list or not) do you enjoy doing for recreation in the present day?

Answered above which ones from the list I enjoy, but if I get to pick them all by myself, I'd say:
1. read
2. be with friends (at a pub, club, movie theater or simply at home to cook dinner or have some drinks and a chat or whatever. So this is really an umbrella thing for going out and staying in)
3. internet
4. see a movie, whether at home or at a cinema, or going out to dinner
5. singing (choir)

Computer games now, arcades are rare
Movies are great, if and when my wife and can get a sitter (hahahahaha)
I would love to get a decent nights sleep sometime in the next decade
Friends and a good book are a plus ;)

I'm 19, but I can say stuff from when I was in my early teens:

Favorite things to do:
1,2,3,5,6,8,9, and 10. I absolutely hated reading (and I still do) and shopping's not my favorite thing.

I still enjoy all of them.

Not on that list:
I like to lift weights, take a jog to stay in shape, talk online with friends, go on dates, and just chill at my place.

Um, all of the above actually. Except maybe shopping. I've always been very 'male' about that. Know what I want before I go out, go straight to the store that has it, get it, go home.


I still like doing all of the above, although, like Melusine, I don't talk on the phone much nowadays. I either talk in person, over the internet, or via text messages.
