Why do my Half-Orc Barbarian looks like a Human ?
Why do my Gnome Illusionist/thief looks like a Dwarf with a white beard ?

The models I see have nothing to do with the avatars i can see in the inventory window.

Is it the way it's supposed to be or am I victim of a weird bug ?

Is the model dependant of the class ?

Aaaah so much questions... :D

The thing is, the game programmers added the extra races and classes in a later stage of the game; and apparently, they didn't have the time to create animations for those, or at least that's what I suspect.

So everything is working as intended ?

Saddest example: Try creating a female gnome illusionist.

A question: Do you folks have ToB? Because I do, and my Half-Orc Barbarian looks like a Half-Orc, prominent canines and all, and my Dwarves and Gnomes both have Females that look pretty darn Female. So maybe those avatars and paperdolls were included with ToB, but not straight SoA.

I also have avatars (but not paperdolls) for a Male Dwarven Mage and an Orcish Mage.

Sorry, I do have ToB installed, and my half-orc barb looks like a human...and my gnome illu/thief still looks like a dwarf. Concerning female I'd have to check.

try downloading shadowkeeper and changing the avatar, although some avatars dont have paper dolls or show armour and weapons
