Ok, heres how it is. i got the wand to kill the unseeing eye quicksaved, then went outa the room. when i got out i was approached by the unseeing eye and fought with him. during the battle one of my ppl died so i reloaded it from the quicksave. The next time i walked outa the room there was NO unseeing eye. i looked around evrywhere but he wasnt there. anyways i tried creating him by cheating and i killed him but when i went to the temple to finish the quest i didnt hav the option to say "yes i killed the sob", so obviously i couldnt finish it. if u hav any idea of what i could do , plz help or tell me what u get if u finsh the qwest. thnx

Did you look in the Unseeing Eye compound on the level above? I'm just guesing but it might be there.

Same thing happened to me. I had to restore to a save before completing the rod. I think its a bug.
If you haven't left the area you can go back to the auto-save (which will be right before enetring that level).
next time quick save right before picking up the 2nd rod piece.
