In order to pick up Imoen, I dropped Minsc from the party, usually I keep Minsc around, but wanted to try the game through with Mazzy instead. My question is this;

After dropping him, Minsc didn't go anywhere. I left the lair without remembering that I wouldn't be able to enter it again later. So does this mean I've kinda lost the ability to use Minsc in the future? Or does he show up somewhere afterwards?

If you mean that you kicked out Minsc in Bodhi's Gauntlet, then yes, Minsc is permanently lost to you.

Dont worry minsc is crap anyway.
If you havent already, try Keldorn. Even Valygar is much better than Minsc.

Nah, I love minsc, purely for comedic value, if nothing else.

This run around my party is looking like this;

Me (Fighter/thief, dualled at lvl 8)

I generally use Minsc rather then Mazzy, but I'd read that she's pretty incredible, so I'm giving her a shot. No short shords though, she's using a two handed sword.
