(Playstation)I made the mistake of gatting up to town right as I was getting ready to go in. When I got back down the door was closed and I dont remember what I did to make it open in the first place. Can anyone help me? If you can Thanks.

Not entirely sure, but generally, if you need a key to open something and the key is a one shot item, the door etc will stay opened.

If all else fails (or there is a bug in the PS version that is not there in the PC version) all I can suggest is restarting from your last save and taking a careful note of what you did to open any doors :(
