P.D.: If you do not understand any concept, it is because i do not speak english and have translated it with a program. If someone can help me to correct it, forward.

It's a decent group, IMO, except for the Elf Thief.
A single-classed thief in this game is a waste of space. I suggest replacing that character with a Fighter/Thief or Thief/Mage multiclass character. They're good, but I'm also not a huge fan of single-classed Mages. I'd suggest either dual-classing a Fighter into a Mage, or making a multiclassed version of one of them as well. If you have HoW, you NEED a Bard in your party, if not, you're better off without one. |
Thank you for your opinion, Klorox, but this group is the group i have in BG. I encourage anyone to read this to giving his opinion. Thanks to all!
P.D.:Sorry for my english. |
LOL, then you'll find the thief a wasted character in that game as well.
If you don't want to hear any criticizm, and won't change anything, what's the point of this thread? |
I want to know what people thinks about my group.
In future messages i will show you how is my group after defeat Belhifet. |
I played twice with pure-class thief (one of it was with HoW) and it's not so terrible, Klorox. I also played a pure class thief (Imoen) twice in BG (once with TotSC). Honestly it's not bad. Especially in BG where you will want to advance your skills as fast as possible and a second class will hinder it. Dualling can mean you spend a portion of the game without thief skills which can be a pain.
Your party looks solid Scawn if I'm correct in the assumption that your playing without HoW. If you have HoW it is still quite good. But you could do with a bard (combine thief and mage into one character to make an empty space, or remove one of the three warriors) and a druid (either remove one of the three warriors or the cleric). But either way your party looks great. One of my earliest HoW parties was Paladin, Ranger, Druid, Bard, Thief, Mage and it was one I had most fun with. Yes I too love single classes and am glad to see some people have those too. btw, that's some decent stats you got there. How long did you roll them, and what are the percentile strengths of your fighter? |
I was three hours among six heroes (I was lucky).
My explorer is a sniper, the paladin is a great warrior, the dwarf has many lives, the cleric fights, shoots and priest, the thief is a born murderess and the mage throws spells and missiles. What do you think? |
In BG1, a pure classed thief isn't too bad, because they max out at level 10.
In IWD, a FMT at 30/30/30 is just as good at thieving as a Thief 30, but can do a whole lot more. IME, a Thief hits his ceiling at about level 10 or 12, which you get to very quickly. But, if a player would like to have a leather wearing character who gains a few HP and nothing else from Chapter 3 on, then there's nothing I should say about it. |
Think of it this way. The thief skills like backstab will be much more effective if she is part fighter. Hense the Fighter/Thief. A bad assassin.
You might want to make somebody in the party a gnome or halfling for better saves and ability to use specific equiptment. Having all 3 classes of caster helps a lot. Druid have effective spells that you will miss. Pure mage better in the BG series but not in IWD simply because you run out of spells fast and the spells are not very destructive. A lot of people combine mage with fighter so they can shoot arrows when nothing else to cast. There are 2 types of tanks, the paladin and the fighter/mage. The F/M can be configured to be very good even without the aid of spells. Try it sometime |
