That spiders are nor really difficult until Legend (depending on your character), but the really difficult ones are the big red bat who makes appear three little bats when you are near them (walking, fighting,...).
The ones riding goblins are difficult the firsts time you find them, with low level (and you can allways use doors...). You must kill first the big bat with the goblin and then the little ones.

in lvl 5 yes the spiders suck then the 4 red bats are a pain the first time the vampire never bits me and the big red bat i got it down 3/4 after dying 3 times

Oh, I found out they were wimpy, but when you FIRST see them, and how big the are--the size of VANS! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif I wasn't expecting such big creatures.. (Used to the Baldurs Gate sizes) But DS is still one great game!
