Do you have to go through the Serpent Temple to go to the Port or go through the Dragon's Sprire? And how do you get through the Dragon Spire? Do you need crystals, where do you obtain them?

You have to go through the Spire to get to Brimloch Roon. You will need to have completed the Stout Mines to make it pass the Bronze dragon that guards the entrance area of the Spire. There are three dragonshards which you will need to solve a puzzle in the Spire, the shards are found within the Spire as well.
