I was wondering which of these games have the best artwork and graphics.
Balurs Gate 1,Baldurs Gate Tale of the sword coast,Ice Wind Dale,Heart of Winter,Planescape Torement,Baldurs gate 2 or Throne of Bahl

i havent seen planescape, but given thats BG2 is newer and was done by black isles top team, well i think you get the point.

I've played all of them and think that both BG2 and Icewind Dale have great graphics (but I didn't like the spell glows at Icewind). Planescape has a bit dark and very mysterious graphics.

Baldur's Gate 2 has the best graphics>

Where there are monsters and barbarians there will be Byronas fighting against them.

I thing i find great about Planescape's graphics is the size of the characters on screen, and the detail in the animation of them. it's so damn badass when, upon encountering an enemy, the all go into "battle pose".

BG2 graphics are by far the best, in terms of the backgrounds and rendered environments, but i think they could've done a better job with the sprites onscreen (they should have a been a bit bigger.)

I think they chose smaller sprites so that they could cram in the Dragons without losing the feeling that they, the Dragons, are big.

yes i think bg2 has the best graphics so far...a lot of the spells look better...

Cause where ever I go I hear how much better IWD's graphics are compared to bg2

sure bg2s spell effects are better - except entangle where you cant actually see any enemys, party memebrs etc.


if you want bigger sprites turn down the res or buy a bigger monitor. im going for a 21 inch to replace my 15 inch. if only...
