While trying to figure out how to beat those wolfwere's, I was reading the description of the "haste" spell in my spellbook. The description specifically states that one of the effects of "haste" is to age you a year. My question is...when does the characters age have any effect on combat performance? Where do you even find out how old a character is (what screen)? BTW, "haste" is helping tremendously in beating the wolfweres !!

lol, u cant find out your characters age. And it doesnt matter how old you are! :D
|
the only age-related info of the pc is that he is around the same age as Imoen, and Imoen is around 20

My character must be going on 200 now!

I think it is a left-over from the AD&D 2nd edition rules.

Yes indeed - and the same goes for the Limited Wish and the Wish spells - Here it is not a fixed amount of years though, but a percent of the total lifespan for a race (ie. you cannot lessen the effect by being a dwarf or an elf).
