how do I get in them...couldn't open them when I originally cleared that dungeon in Chapter 2...thought it was just because I didn't have a high enough lock picker with Yoshimo...went back later with Jan (135% lockpick) and still couldn't open...I assume these are the cells where poor Mazzy is trapped...how do I get in? Obviously, I missed a key or lever somewhere...do I have to defeat the shadow dragon to free her?

One of the shadows you killed outside those cells is the shadow jailor. He drops some armor and a key. See if it's still there, otherwise you may have to reload.
