hi. I'm kind of new here but... I've been an avid Darkstone player since it's release. I'm having some problems with my characters. I had lost my Darkstone cd, so I bought a new one. I didn't uninstall or anything like that. I just tried my new cd, no installation procedures taken, and the game ran just fine. Only... all of my characters/saved games are gone! My 59 priest kind of meant a lot to me. Anyone else had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated! [img]smile.gif[/img]

This kind of thing usually happens when the name of your PC is changed. You can find the name via the "identification" tab under Network Neighbourhood (Win 98)

If you still have all your save game folders and the PC name is the same, all I can suggest is that you uninstall then reinstall from the new disc and patch to 1.05b. If that does not work, I'm a bit lost as to what to suggest :(
