I have tried to have each of my characters join the Bushi guild in Ishad N'Ha and the guildmaster keeps saying that I am not allowed to join. Why?

You need to be either a Samurai, Ninja or Monk to actually join the bushi dojo, the samurai and ninja quests can be started at the warrior guild (samurai can also be started at the mage guild, and monk at the priests guild and ninja at the rogues guild)

By the way, you can apply to be a Samurai, Ninja or Monk, you don't have to be one yet to join the Dojo!

Right you are Skywalker, i forgot you can do that. As soon as you start a quest for the Monk, Ninja and Samurai, you can pop straight over to the bushi dojo and join up.
