EasyTutu walking speed problem

I recently started an Easy Tutu game, intending to run through the whole series after leaving it to collect dust in a drawer for far longer than any fan should. However, I have a problem with walking speeds. My main character walks much slower than everyone else in my party. I'm guessing this is some sort of conflict with the optional mod to ramp up the walk speeds from BG1 speed to BG2 speed, which has affected every character but my own. I have tried installing, reinstalling and uninstalling the mod from tutufix several times but it makes no difference playing with or without. As my character is a tank it doesn't help that everyone else aggro's enemies before I do. Any insight would be welcome. :)

I hate to ask an obvious question, but is the PC overburbened? Other than that all I can say is I have had the same problems in the past. My only fix was to do a complete reinstall and DO NOT install BG2 Walking Speeds component. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. No, I'm not overburdened (I haven't been away THAT long ;) ). Guess I'll try a full reinstall. Cheers.

Strangely, a complete uninstall including a clean up of extraneous files and a subsequent reinstall without touching any additional components didn't change anything. So I just fired up shadowkeeper and fiddled with my character's movement speed value until he could keep up with everyone else.

Are you importing this PC or creating it from scratch via "start a new game"?
