I want to put serpent egg in crusher, but can't just drop the egg in. How do I do this?

Spin the wheel to raise the crusher so it is high enough that you can walk under it. To the right of the wheel is a ramp leading down. After you are down the first portion of the ramp, there is a walkway along your left side which will take you to the area under the crusher. Walk in, drop the egg, get out, spin the wheel. That should do it!

Thanks I understand that, but what is the command to drop something. I know where to put it I just can't figure out how to get my character to drop it.
