whenever i read the amulet in front of keras nothing happens. am i supposed to complete something b4 this.

Hmmm.... not sure where you are (since there seem to be more than one statue of Kerah in the game).. but, if you are in the Crypt.. you need to TALK to the statue.. in other words.. you need to use the talk option and then TYPE in the words~
